Bitscape was assessed at SEI CMMI Level 3 Maturity Level by Mr.Rajendra Khare, Authorized SEI Lead Appraiser from DQS India, an authorized Transition Partner of SEI, CMU, USA. This shows a high level of process focus, assurance of product reliability, and working competence of Bitscape. The Bitscape Processes are optimized to create high level of customer satisfaction and are aligned for product reliability, said Mr. Rajendra Khare, Managing Director DQS India and Authorized SEI Lead Appraiser.
The CMMI Process Model Framework, called CMMI for Development, Version 1.2, is the international standard and benchmark set up by SEI (Software Engineering Institute) of USA, for best practices in software engineering quality and is used by leading software companies for assessing and improving software development processes.
In context of the global expansion strategy of Bitscape, Kartik Shah, Co-Founder and CEO of the newly formed Bitscape Inc in Silicon Valley, said that with the consistent growth of the global business of the company there is a growing demand for Bitscape service in the US. The CMMI Level 3 process orientation is will help Bitscape serve its clients better, he said.
The setting up of the subsidiary is part of the growth strategy of the company as Bitscape has set up an ambitious target for its growth. The Co-Founder and Director (Technical) of the company, Ashish Bahuguna, said that CMMI Level 3 is a milestone achievement.
